My test photo at http://home.freeuk.com/m.gavin/ncyg2_01.htm
taken 36 hrs prior to discovery shows no star in location of the nova
brighter than m8.5.
Will try for some spectra tonight - weather permitting<g>. My webpage
includes Megastar finder charts based on position by H.Abe.
