(fwd) WZ Sge outburst early superhump grown From: Ryoko Ishioka <ishioka@kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp> Subject: [vsnet-superoutburst 510] WZ Sge outburst early superhump grown Date: Wed, 25 Jul 2001 16:31:58 +0900 Dear Colleagues, The light curve of the Kyoto team last night run shows six clear humps with an amplitude more than 0.5 mag. The featur is identical to that of reported by Masi [vsnet-alert 6115]. The period analysis gives a period of 0.057 d, which is consistent with the orbital period of 0.0567 d and indicate that the humps are "early superhumps". It is surprised that the "early superhumps" have such a large amplitude. The light curve of the Kyoto team also shows some decline trend with a rate of ~0.4 mag/day, whici is larger than usual decline rate of superoutburst. Continuous observations are strongly encouraged!! Regards, Ryoko Ishioka
