A material accelerator ring was discovered in the centre of the galaxy
NGC1365. More information at www.ngc1365.de

The text underneath the picture at
http://vsnet.ngc1365.de/BlickinsZentrum.htm reads:

The galaxy NGC1365 unveils the view to the central nucleus and its way of
functioning. The dark cloud streams are represented bright in the
negative. The old stellar matter is located in the centre. The location of
origin of the two dark cloud streams is at the two flat sides of the oval
central ring. The dark cloud streams don't follow the bow of the central
oval, but develop into so-called eruption regions. From here, the dark
cloud streams are ejected out of the central region. Parts of the old
stellar matter are thrown out along with this.

Best regards,
Sonja.
