Subject: [vsnet-alert 5757] BVRI comparison stars near NGC 5921

Note that SN 2001X, just discovered in NGC 5921 (IAUC 7591), has the
potential of becoming relatively bright (mag. 13) if it is a type Ia event.
Harold Corwin has measured four stars near the galaxy useful as comparisons:

Name RA (2000) Dec GSC V B-V V-R V-I
NGC 5921 B 15 22 06.4 +05 02 44 0344-0407 10.32 0.40 0.24 0.49
NGC 5921 A 15 21 53.5 +05 03 22 0344-0738 12.01 1.21 0.65 1.28 SW edge
NGC 5921 C 15 21 50.2 +05 02 18 0344-0514 12.92 0.58 0.31 0.55
NGC 5921 b 15 21 48.6 +05 04 45 0344-0330 14.07 0.5
