[vsnet-alert 5537] RZ Leo fading slower

RZ Leo fading slower

Dear Colleagues,

Preliminary analysis of the Dec. 8 run by the Kyoto team and the Dec. 6
data by Kiyota-san, the decline rate of RZ Leo has become apparently slower.
The object faded only 1.1 mag since Dec. 5. This value is markedly smaller
than those of post-superoutburst values of usual SU UMa-type stars.
This may suggest that the superoutburst has not been quenched yet.
Follow-up observations are strongly encouraged.

[vsnet-campaign 658]:
Observations are strongly urged at this very important moment!
Please don't give up if the object may look to faint for your equipment.
Continue observing as long as possible, just as the object is in outburst.
The a sifficient number of dark frames (at the same temperature of
actual observing) and necessary flat-field images to improve the image
quality. The Kyoto team is readly to receive images for elaborate analysis,
if the object becomes too faint for ready-to-use photometry softwares.

Regards,
VSNET Collaboration team
