omicron Cet (Mira) brightening confirmed!
Several observations from Japan have confirmed the re-brightening of
Mira (omicron Cet) tonight. The reported magnitudes are 3.5-3.8.
Some observer reports that "the star now rivals alpha and beta Cet".
Frequent (and photoelectric) observations are strongly urged to record
the duration and evolution of the event.
