Dear SN watchers, Itarian automated SN seeker M. Migliardi and A. Dimai have discovered a bright SN again (cf. SNe 2000C and 2000M). Congratulations, Marco and Alessandro! According to IAUC 7443, the SN is located at R.A. = 13h58m38s.37, Decl. = +37o26'12".9 (2000.0, W. Li at KAIT measurements), which is about 4" east and 45" north ot the nucleus of the interacting spiral galaxy NGC 5395 with NGC 5394, which lies about 2' NNW. The object is superimposed on the bright H II region. The magnitudes up to now are: June 21.2 >190: June 25.90 170: 25.94 170: 26.2 167: The spectroscopy by CfA group has revealed that it is of type II in the early epoch. It is consistent that it appeared in the probable star forming region. The recession velocity of the host (about 3400 km/s) tells that it is some neighbouring galaxy and the intrinsically bright SN can reach to 15 mag order. Followup magnitude estimates and spectroscopical evolution is highly urged to study the birth place of the massive stars in the interacting galaxies.
