HS Vir possible superoutburst The following observations indicate that the SU UMa-type dwarf nova HS Vir is bright for these three nights. This is a likely signature of a superoutburst. The last confirmed superoutburst of HS Vir occurred in 1999 May, which started at mv=14.0, and peaked at mv=13.4. Since the whole development of superhumps in HS Vir has not been well established, time-resolved photometry is still strongly encouraged. Please go ahead as one of the VSNET campaign targets.
