RX J1450.5+6403 period from quiescent observations
Dear Colleagues,
We have received quiescent photometry of RX J1450.5+6403 from the
Nyrola Observatory team (Arto Oksanen, Marko Moilanen, Timo Kinnunen).
The period analysis has yielded a strong, sharp signal at P=0.0289 d
and its double. The period is prettey close to the half of the spectroscopic
period announced by John Thorstensen (vsnet-alert 4848). The feature
is quite remniscent of other short-period SU UMa systems like WZ Sge, AL Com
and BC UMa. More information from newly available data will be presented
in vsnet-campaign.
Regards,
Taichi Kato,
