(fwd) RXJ1450.5+6403 spectroscopic period ... (Thorstensen)

From: "John R. Thorstensen" <thorsten@partita.dartmouth.edu>
Dear Colleagues,
More on this new SU UMa star: In April of this year I
obtained radial velocities which showed the orbital period to be
short. The period determination was not conclusive but the
leading candidates are 0.0588 and 0.0599 d, both of which are
a little shorter than Tonny Vanmunster's preliminary superhump
period of 0.0617 d. The spectrum at minimum light appeared
typical of SU UMa-type dwarf novae. I have more observing time
next month (after which it will presumably have faded back to
minimum), and I should be able to resolve the period ambiguities
then.
