RXJ 1450.5+6403 = FBS 1449+642 from the Byurakan spectral survey of
blue stellar objects. It is listed with a spectral type of B1 (!). The
USNO-A2.0 'b-r' color is -0.5, so this is definitely a blue object.
Looking at the calibration situation: two sequences appearing on the
same POSS-I plate indicate that USNO-A2.0 red magnitudes are offset by -0.5
mag. from standard Cousins R. Thus to adjust to R, _add_ 0.5 mag. to
magnitudes obtained differentially from USNO-A2.0 red magnitudes.
Nice find, Tonny!
