The variable Rudolf reports has the colors of a dwarf near spsectral
type K4 based on Henden's UBVRI photometry (where the U-B color is almost
completely diagnostic). Though certainly not an RR Lyr star, it wouldn't
be so surprising if it were a spotted rotational variable, but the
amplitude would be fairly small, probably less than 0.05 mag.
