In the preliminary analysis of optical spectra of XTE J1118+480 which
we obtained last night and tonight at Okayama, Japan,
we see unexpected week balmer and He II lines compared with typical X-ray
transients in outburst. It may indicate that the state is different
from that just after the discovery (cf. IAUC 7392).
