HadV48 tentative period
Based on available observations of HadV48, I have found that the period
of 2.997 d well express all the observed characterstics.
JD = 2449972.923 + 2.997056 E (sorry, no HJD corrections yet)

The suggested period is very close to three siderial days, which may
explain the lack of fading episodes observed in Japan for the period
1996-1999.
