[vsnet-alert 4548] XTE J1118+480: revised astrometry

Dear Colleagues,
I've added several images of this target, in order to have an higher S/N ratio (BTW: the
run was of poor quality, because of very bad weather conditions, but they have been
useful, at this point, to get astrometry).

I measured this new image, getting these results:

XTEJ1118+480 RA:11h 18m 10.86s Decl: +48d 02' 12.9" (J2000.0)

Seven reference stars from USNO A2.0 have been used. Mean residuals: 0.24 "

At this point, I think the suspected progenitor (end figures: 10.85s, 12.78") has god
chances to be a good one. Respect to my previous astrometry, here (having a deeper image)
I used stars well distributed all
around the target.

All the best,
Gianluca
