Another solution, along with imaging good enough to see if the faint
USNO star is visible currently, is for someeon with the right tools to
measure the DSS2 image(s) of the faint object to see if there's perceptible
motion. Use Tycho-2, GSC-ACT, or USNO-A2.0 as the reference frame if
possible.
