TV Crv rare outburst Rod Stubbings report that the large-amplitude SU UMa-type dwarf nova TV Crv (Tombough's variable) is undergoing an rare outburst, presumably a superoutburst. The latest outburst (superoutburst) of TV Crv was observed 1998 May - June. Coordinates: 122024.16 -182702.6 (2000.0) The Kyoto team have just started CCD photometry, and confirmed the outburst. Although superhumps have been reported (Psh=0.0650d, Howell et al. 1996), unfavorable seasonal conditions in previous superoutbursts have made long time-series observations difficult. We strongly encourage observers to concentrate on this object by taking the present rare opportunity, very favorably located in the midnight sky, and wish for another successful VSNET collaboration, as we have had in IY UMa (TmzV85), QY Per etc. YYYYMMDD(UT) mag observer 20000210.777 <150 (A.
