[vsnet-alert 4271] OGLE-2000-SCO-01

This case can hardly be called "in progress" but we decided to send this
alert because the event might represent a rare microlensing in the
Galactic disk (l=-17.5, b=-1.7). Unfortunately, the maximum of
brightness occured during the inter-seasonal gap. Constant V-I color (to
within 0.03 mag) at the moment of the brightest observation as compared
to the baseline level color may suggest microlensing. Also the
time-scale is consistent with a disk microlens. Nevertheless the object
can be a variable star.
