Yes, restudy of these phenomena is quite important!  Especially,
detection of super-QPOs (Kato et al. 1992, PASJ 44, L216) are
desired, since super-QPOs are supposed to exist only during the
very early phase of the superoutburst (see Nogami et al. 1998,
PASJ 50, 297, also available via the URL,
http://ftp.kusastro.kyoto-u.ac.jp/pub/vsnet/preprints/SW_UMa/).
The timescale of super-QPOs is 5-6 minutes.  So I would recommend
you to try to make the time resolution as short as possible.

The variation of the superhump period is another interesting
topic regading the disk instability theory.  The multi longitudinal
coverage like the recent VSNET collaborations on QY Per, IY UMa,
and so on, is highly encouraged.
