FS Aur outburst
Gary Poyner reports that the short-orbital cataclysmic variable FS Aur
is undergoing a relatively bright outburst (vsnet-obs 26202).
Feb. 2.984, at mv=14.5
This brightness level was reached on a few occasions in one observing
season. So observers with usable telescope time (e.g. after RX J0459 etc.)
may well observe this object. The object has an orbital period close
to the CV period minimum, but no definite superhump detection has been
achieved.
