[vsnet-alert 4092] TmzV85 extremely enhanced pre-eclipse humps!

TmzV85 extremely enhanced pre-eclipse humps!

Dear Colleagues,

Just a quick notification. The available observations on Jan. 27-28 from
Tonny Vanumuster and partial analysis of Jan. 28 Kyoto data both indicate
pre-eclipse humps have been greatly enhanced. While the hump amplitude was
0.4-0.5 mag on Jan. 27, it has grown to exceed 1.0 mag! We must wait for
more detailed analysis whether this is an extreme enhancement of the orbital
hump or the superposition of (late) superhump and orbital hump, but we
strongly encourge continued (long) observations at least on coming nights.
The out-of-eclipse brightness has not dramatically faded between these
two nights, which looks still above quiescence.
