Recent magnitude estimates of Nova Sgr 1998 seem to be
consistent with mV~13.2. So, if there is an error in this
estimate (it might be 13.52V instead of 15.32V), the nova
might have brightened only by a few tenths magnitudes
if at all, and there wasn't any outburst.
Could S. Kiyota recheck this estimate, please?
