Dear Colleagues-

The MACHO project has detected two  candidate microlensing events in
progress towards the Galactic bulge.

RA      (J2000)               18:05:48.2
DEC     (J2000)               -27:24:16
V                             18.9
R                             18.2

A ~2.4 and neak peak on 11 Sep, duration 15 +/- 2 days.

Event                         99-BLG-61
Star ID                       180.22759.707
RA      (J2000)               18:09:17.8
DEC     (J2000)               -25:29:04
V                             19.1
R                             18.0

A ~1.6 and rising on 11 Sep, duration unknown.
