Call for monitoring GSC2135.1730 (new variable near V419 Lyr) Dear Colleagues, Excitingly enough, on Aug. 31 we caught an unambigious eclipse of the new variable star candidate (cf. Novak et al., vsnet-alert 3418). The eclipse depth (~1 mag) is sufficient for visual monitoring. We therefore call for visual monitoring of further eclipses, as a by-peoduct of the usual checking of V419 Lyr. Please report the new variable with the name GSC2135.1730 to vsnet-obs (use the VSNET V419 Lyr sequence). We will later compile a joint paper with all paricipants. Regards, Taichi Kato, Rudolf Novak, Makoto Uemura, The VSNET collaboration team
