July 13th, 1999; 4:45 UT: I just examined the field with a 17.5" dobsonian.
At 91x and 380x the nucleus appeared normal. However, the galaxy was
relatively low and the sky was bright. A magnitude 14.5 field star was
slightly difficult with averted vision.
