Sudden fading of FN Sgr
L. E. Shaw reports the sudden fading of FN Sgr, symbiotic variable currently
undergoing an outburst. A similar sharp drop was observed in 1996, centering
1996 June. There was also an indication of fading in 1997 Dec. - 1998 Jan.
(coverage incomplete due to the seasonal gap). cf. vsnet-alert 433, 528
The present observation likely indicate the existence of deep eclipses,
with a period of ~540 d. Observations are strongly encouraged.
