I have managed to observe the nova suspect in the 16" reflector and have the
following more accurate position:

2000 coords:  10h 44m 49s  -52d 25m 42s

I have the software package "Deep Space" with the GSC CD-Rom.  There is no star
plotted from the GSC at this location to 16th mag.

I have attached a GIF File from DSS with the above coords at the centre.  I
don't think there is a candidate visible at the nova's position.
