[vsnet-alert 2737] GK Per likely past the first peak

GK Per likely past the first peak

The unfiltered CCD observations, using a 25-cm telescope (Kyoto
University), seem to indicate GK Per has passed its first peak (which may
correspond to the stagnation peak, as suggested by Kim et al.) and
presently in slowly declining stage. GK Per, unless the outburst is
quenched, is expected to turn to rise again. Intensive observations
are recommended.
