Subject: Tenagra I Telescope Access

Greetings -

The Tenagra I .36m SCT has been successfully moved to Arizona
for the duration of our weather black out period in Oregon.
The telescope is 100% controlled over the internet. This may
be a first.

The scope is located at Winer Mobile Observatory, a very non-
mobile facility that accepts 8 telescopes. Currently the
observatory has the Tenagra I and .5m ALT-AZ University of
Iowa telescope with Washington University to soon add another
.5 meter telescope.

WMO maintains a web page at:

www-astro.physics.uiowa.edu/IRO/wmo/ops.html

Seeing is typically better than 2" and the images we have seen
are better than any taken in Oregon.

While control of the telescope is 100% internet access, users
who wish to use the Tenagra I scope need to be familiar with
Software Bisque's TheSky, CCDSoft and Orchestrate. Otherwise,
we are happy to accept a pre-formatted list of objects and get
the images to you.

We are extraordinarily pleased to have this prized telescope time
and would like to share the access with qualified individuals
and for educational purposes. A typical night yields 250 to 300
images of 60 seconds each.

All the best and good observing.

Michael
