PU Per: superhump detection

Dear Colleagues,

   From time-series CCD observations on Oct. 2 and 3 (K. Matsumoto, Ouda
team rooftop station, 25cm-SCT + ST-7 unfiltered), we have been able to
detect superhumps in PU Per.  The best superhump period determined from
two-night observations was 0.0723 d.  This result confirms the claimed
detection of superhump reported by Patterson et al.
