On the basis of the Quick Scientific Analysis performed at BeppoSAX-SDC
refined coordinates have been determined of the X-ray source (BeppoSAX GRB
MAIL N. 98/22) observed by BeppoSAX NFI in the RXTE/ASM error box of
GRB980703. The refined coordinates are:

R.A.:  23h 59m 07s (2000)
Dec.: +08d 35' 33" (2000)

with an error radius of 50".

The source shows a fading behaviour.
