[vsnet-alert 1823] Bright outburst of CR Boo

Bright outburst of CR Boo

Gene Hanson reports the helium cataclysmic variable CR Boo is undergoing
a very bright outburst. Recent observations (cf. vsnet-alert 1038, 1362,
1402, 1404, 1418, 1458, 1490, 1504, 1546, 1560) have revealed that this
variable (and V803 Cen; vsnet-alert 1733, 1743, 1746) tends to show brief,
very bright outburst just preceding the superoutburst. Intensive observations
are highly recommended. The magnitude of 13.2 is the brightest record
as far as we know.
