Hi,
Just finished some photometry on 3C279 (May 4.87 UT), using a 0.25-m f/6.3 SCT
and ST-7 CCD (unfiltered). The object indeed is very bright : mag 13.5
(using 12.4
comp star on VSNET chart). This confirms Balonek's announcement in
vsnet-alert 1740.
