Possible fading of FG Sge FG Sge, peculiar variable star, a candidate post final helium flash object, may be fading as indicated by the following observations. The latest deep fading was observed in early-mid 1996. Since that time the system gradually recovered to the "usual" maximum level. Possibility still exists that the present birhgteness may be within the range of the star's usual variation at maximum. Please keep a close eye on FG Sge. YYMMDD(UT) mag observer 980219.230 98 (B. H.
