prediscovery observation of SN 1998S, measured by him from a CCD image taken
by K. Kawakami (Kochi University).

mag 16.0:
instrument: 20.3cm(F6.3) Schmidt-Cassegrain + unfiltered CCD.
exposure: 60 sec.
comparison star: Hipparcos
Nakamura comments the subtraction of the galaxy background was difficult.
