Outburst of V485 Cen Rod Stubbings reports the outburst of V485 Cen, a peculiar SU UMa-type dwarf nova having a 59-min orbital period. During the May, 1997 superoutburst, Paul Warhurst, University of Auckland (vsnet-alert 912) and Arkadiusz Olech (OGLE-2 team, Las Campanas Observatory; vsnet-alert 926) detected superhumps.
