Hi,
I happen to have made some observations recently of this BL Lac
object. As it is new on my list and for lack of any history or records
I did not report their observations so far.
Just by memory...
November 1997
Blazar UT Magn
PKS 2155-304 18.75 12.9 *
and
PKS 2005-489 19.8 12.5 *
PKS 2005-489 20.8 12.5
Sequences were derived visually from nearby GSPC magnitudes
and sequences provided by P Mc Gee (for PKS 2155):
* the V magnitudes in the literature were 13.1 and 13.4 for PKS
2155-304 and PKS 2005-489 respectively. In view of this the latter
one seems to be even more 'active' as per brightness shown.

Berto Monard,

refer to the corresponing IAUC issue. This Blazar has been
requested
for optical monitoring, and I transferred messages to vsnet-alert
