If 6377 is an SGR, then it is a completely new source, and this is
the first "repetition". Its ASM position is inconsistent with that
of SGR1806-20. Around June 29, Ulysses, BATSE, and KONUS observed
two soft bursts which appeared to come from the same position, which
was again inconsistent with SGR1806-20. I have checked to see
whether 6377 might be from that object. The error box misses it
by about two degrees (mostly in the lengthwise direction of the
ASM error box). If the ASM error box is a one sigma box, or if
it could move, then we might have a 3rd burst from this source.
The previous two were very intense.
