[vsnet-alert 1183] New "object" in Peg

(Tome, posilam to rovnou i do VSNETu, kde je sance, ze to jeste nekdo bude
pozorovat tuto noc, nebo jak se setmi v Americe)

Dear colleagues,
Friend of mine - Tomas Havlik (Observatory Ostrava, Czech Republic) - sent
me a alert that there is possible new object close to well known Stephans
Quintet's position. I made CCD image of the fiels and there is certainly
some "object" which is NOT shown in GSC and also not included in Guide's
galaxy catalogs. It is possible that this could be a know comet or maybe a
new one. I would like to ask you if it is possible for observers with
clear sky (we both have clouds right now) to confirm this or to find out
if there is some known comet at:
R.A.: 22h 37m 00s
DEC.: 34d 03m 30

(preliminary coordinates given by Havlik)

As an attachment I give my CCD image, where "object" is located by two
thick bars.
I hope you'll be succesfull

Have a nice day/night and clear sky

With best regards
Rudolf
