Dear Collegues,
I am writing you because I need your help.
During the past months, I have taken two images of the famous Dumbbell
Nebula (M27). Confronting them, I have noted that there is a star which
changes its brightness. I have controlled all the books that I have
(28.000 variable stars from GSVC included and 14.000 suspected
variables), without findind any variable star in the same position.
I give below the position of the star:
A.R.: 20h 00m (Epoch: 2000)
Delta: +22d 34' (Epoch: 2000)
Mag.: 14.0 (unfiltered)
You can find the images at the URL:
http://vsnet.eurolink.it/comets/varst.html
I know that you have a great experience in this field, so I ask if
somebody can tell me if this variable is known or not.
Please, give me your reply by personal e-mail, because it works faster
than the VSNET.
Best Regards,
Gianluca Masi
