Visual obs for Jun 8 18:27 UT :

Nova? Sco 1997 11.0 - VSS RASNZ AI Sco sequence

This seems to be dropping too quickly for a "real" nova. Is it a UG?
Starfield identified with the aid of GUIDE 5.0, which also reports no
bright asteroids nearby.

Next time I must read my email _before_ taking the scope outside!
