[vsnet-alert 957] RE vsnet-alert 955, Possible nova in Canes Venatici

RE: vsnet-alert 955, possible nova in Canes Venatici announced
by Minori Oka.  The "nova" is due to some defect of the CCD.
Oka phoned at June 3, 00:40 UT, that in his 4 images one image
was shifted by 4 pixels (about 10") but the star was on the
same position.
Sorry for the false report and thanks to Nick James [vsnet-alert 956]
for his fine image.
