The SU UMa-type dwarf nova DH Aql is undergoing a bright outburst as
reported by P. Schmeer in [vsnet-alert 872] and by G. Hanson in
[vsnet-obs 5685].

The reported brightness seems to surpass almost all of the previously
outbursts, including the 1994 September superoutburst and 1995 July
(possibly super-)outburst. Records:

The first ever detection of superhumps was made during the 1994 September
outburst by the Ouda team (Nogami and Kato, IBVS 4227), who reported a
superhump period of 0.0805 +/- 0.003 day. Observations during the present
outburst of better visibility are strongly recommended.
