Dear friends,
I would like to draw attention of variable star observers (especially those
equipped with a CCD camera) to a new red variable star discovered in the
Dumbbell nebula (though not physically associated with the planetary) and
ask them for observations. Apparent on many published photographs and CCD
frames of the famous deep-sky object, it needs a good long-term photometry
to be oficially accepted and named.
You can find the complete story, including the finding chart, on my WWW
page:

Please send any reply directly to my email address (ondra@physics.muni.cz)
since I am not the subscriber to this forum. Thanks a lot in advance for
any help!
