G'day all,
WX Hydri is in outburst (superoutburst?) tonight, February 10 UT:
time mag observer
---- --- --------
10:19 11.8 Tz
12:56 11.5 Fm
Also, the novalike variable IX Velorum has brightened. Normal mag has
been 9.4-9.8 for awhile.

13:00 9.0 Fm
Fm - Fraser Farrell
Tz - Justin Tilbrook
Justin also reports that his new observatory is undamaged after a nearby
mag 5.6 earthquake last Wednesday afternoon. However, aftershocks made
it difficult to observe (or sleep) that night!
cheers,
Fraser Farrell
