[vsnet-alert 713] Re: DE Cnc

Dear colleagues,

Following Timo Kinnunen's request to confirm a possible outburst
of DE Cnc (an object on the Belgian Cataclysmic Variables Alert Programme),
we obtained an unfiltered CCD image of the DE Cnc area, using the
25-cm f/6.3 SCT and ST-7 CCD of CBA Belgium observatory. No object down
to mag. 16.5 is present near the position indicated in the Downes & Shara
catalogue. Our image was obtained on 1997, Feb 6.98 UT.

No outburst data of this most interesting object are listed in the Outburst 
Activity Database on Selected Cataclysmic Variables.
