[vsnet-alert 700] request for monitoring dwarf novae (Skidmore)

    We have recieved the following request from Warren Skidmore (Keele
University).

Dear vsnet Observers,

I am part of a team that will be using the 4-meter William Herschel
Telescope on La Palma on the 24-26th of February 1997. The purpose of the
run is to get spectroscopy of the "dwarf nova oscillations" (DNOs), which
are small amplitude, periodic oscillations seen only when dwarf nova are
in outburst. 

Can you help me determine the state of the following dwarf novae leading
upto and during my run? I am most interested in the following systems: 

        SY Cnc
        CN Ori
	Z  Cam
	V1159 Ori
        U  Gem
        KT Per

All observations are greatly appreciated.
