[vsnet-alert 614] possible EUV ALEXIS transient

ALEXIS has detected a potential transient in Telescope 2A (130 Angstroms,
93eV) at:
RA= (08 54.29)
DEC=(26 42.8)
(Epoch 2000)
Error circle radius = 0.55 degrees (~90% confidence)
There was no evidence of the object in the co-aligned telescope 2B (66
eV). The source appeared to turn on about 8 UT 6 Dec, 1996, peaked at 20
UT 6 Dec and was in the process of decaying at 0 UT 7 Dec when the most
recent contact with the satellite was made.
A simbad search reveals 19 sources in the error box. Follow up observations
are encouraged
