Dear colleagues, V651 Mon (central star of NGC 2346) continues to show rapidly growing eclipses as indicated by the following observation reported to vsnet-obs. The star was mostly brighter than V=13 only three or four orbital cycles earlier. Gray Poyner's latest observation seems to indicate the ingress and egress of eclipses are very steep, implying a steep density gradient of the suggested cloudlet passing in front of the binary.
