[vsnet-alert 586] possible EUV ALEXIS transient

ALEXIS has detected a potential transient in Telescope 2A (130 Angstroms,
93eV) at:

         RA= (05 30 45.3)
         DEC=(09 06 08)
         (Epoch 2000)

         Error circle radius = 0.55 degrees (~90% confidence)

There was no evidence of the object in the co-aligned telescope 2B (66
eV). The source appeared to turn on about 0 UT 17 Nov and was still bright
at 8 UT 17 Nov when the most recent contact with the satellite was made.

Follow up observations are encouraged

                                                Diane Roussel-Dupre
