ALEXIS has detected a potential transient in Telescope 2A (130 Angstroms, 93eV) at: RA= (05 30 45.3) DEC=(09 06 08) (Epoch 2000) Error circle radius = 0.55 degrees (~90% confidence) There was no evidence of the object in the co-aligned telescope 2B (66 eV). The source appeared to turn on about 0 UT 17 Nov and was still bright at 8 UT 17 Nov when the most recent contact with the satellite was made. Follow up observations are encouraged Diane Roussel-Dupre for more information, see the ALEXIS web page http://nis-www.lanl.gov/~asocops/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Diane Roussel-Dupre, NIS-2 Los Alamos National Laboratory Telephone: (505) 667-8895 FAX: (505) 665-4414 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Diane Roussel-Dupre, Los Alamos National Laboratory Internet: ddupre@sstcx1.lanl.gov or Span: essdp2::dupre FAX: (505) 665-4414 Telex: 660495 los alamos lab ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Diane Roussel-Dupre, NIS-2 * recycle * Los Alamos National Laboratory * renew reuse * Telephone: (505) 667-8895 * restore * FAX: (505) 665-4414 * * ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Diane Roussel-Dupre, Los Alamos National Laboratory Internet: ddupre@sstcx1.lanl.gov or Span: essdp2::dupre FAX: (505) 665-4414 Telex: 660495 los alamos lab
